Registration at the Media Centre Once through the festival gate and wristbanded, media representatives must proceed to the Media Centre within the festival precinct to register and pick up Accreditation pass.
Access Accreditation does not entitle the pass holder to access stage, backstage or artist’s Greenroom area. The Media Centre has a liaison service to facilitate media access to performers for interviews.
Visibility Accreditation passes must be visible when you are working. Stage Managers may request to see your pass.
Confidentiality All information and processes associated with Media Accreditation are to be considered confidential.
Venue Protocol Media are not to interfere with the audience line of sight or enter stage areas, Stage Managers may ask media to observe venue protocol.
Photo ID To register at the Media Centre you will require photo ID.
Storage The Media Centre can provide limited temporary storage for equipment, on an all care no responsibility basis. Conditions apply.
Accommodation All media must make their own accommodation or camping arrangements.
Ticket Entry The tickets issued through the Media Accreditation application process will only admit the holder of the ticket, one ticket per person. No media will be admitted prior to gates opening on the 13th April. Tickets do not entitle other associates to enter on your ticket. Tickets need to be purchased through the normal channels for all members of your group who are not in your media application.
